You’re parents navigating the extraordinary responsibility of raising a child with autism spectrum disorder or another developmental difference. Alongside the joy and love, you may feel the weight of stress, grief, or isolation; and perhaps the strain it places on your marriage. Anchored Together was created specifically for couples like you.

As the exclusive provider, Dr. Linda Iyebote brings over 13 years of clinical experience and has published work on the lived experiences of parents raising children with ASD, giving her both professional and research-based insight into the unique challenges couples face. Dr Iyebote holds a Ph.D. in International Psychology. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Certified Social Work Supervisor. She combines this expertise with heart-centered and culturally sensitive care to support couples carrying extraordinary responsibilities.

What Makes Anchored Together Unique?
Unlike general parenting advice or surface-level workshops, Anchored Together is rooted in trauma-informed, relational psychotherapy. We go beyond symptom management to support grief, intimacy, stress, and long-term planning at a deep level.

The Anchored Together Framework
For couples who want more than short-term coping; they want resilience, intimacy, and hope for the future. Anchored Together is designed for parents navigating the psychological, emotional, and relational cost of caregiving. Using evidence-based methods like the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), CBT, Imago, and Narrative Therapy, this program helps couples:
-
Process grief and loss of “hoped-for” dreams.
-
Build rituals of connection that sustain love and partnership.
-
Strengthen advocacy and teamwork for their child’s care.
-
Prepare for transitions and long-term planning (trusts, guardianship, estate planning).
-
Renew intimacy and find joy again in their marriage.

Rooted in evidence-based care
Anchored Together integrates attachment theory, trauma-informed therapy, family systems, CBT, and emotionally focused interventions. Couples receive tools, reflection prompts, and therapist-guided exercises that combine emotional healing with practical planning for the future.
This is relational realignment. And for couples ready to anchor their marriage while raising a child with unique needs, it’s the clarity, resilience, and hope they’ve been missing.
