ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Clinician, Researcher, & Teacher

Dr. Linda Iyebote is the founder and CEO of Elra Wellness Group, a telehealth group practice serving clients across Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. With 14 years of experience, she is a Board-Approved LCSW Supervisor in Virginia and still sees her own clients, so what she teaches comes from current practice.

Her doctoral research at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology looked at the lived experiences of Ghanaian fathers raising children with autism in Accra, Ghana. It was the first study of its kind.

​

She is a Ghanaian-American scholar and writer who speaks with cultural awareness and without jargon.
